At  Stand and Speak Academy (SASA), we meet students where they are—and guide them toward confident, authentic self-expression. Our programming is designed to be flexible for schools while delivering transformational outcomes for students. Each experience builds toward a culminating Student Showcase, where participants demonstrate their growth in voice, confidence, and presence.

Participation Format

SASA is offered in a small-group, cohort-based model and club membership to ensure each student is seen, heard, and supported.

• Ideal for  students ages 11–18
• Group sizes: 8–20   students
• Delivered  during school hours, after school, or as a special enrichment program
• Led by a  licensed clinician and experienced youth development facilitator
• Safe, structured, and empowering environment

Each session focuses on:

• Building  confidence and self-awareness
• Strengthening  communication and public speaking skills
• Navigating  social pressures, identity, and emotional expression
• Developing  leadership presence and peer connection

4-Week Intensive                                                                                                                                                                 A powerful introduction to voice and confidence. 

This short-term experience is designed to ignite student awareness and quickly build foundational skills.

Focus Areas:

• Finding your  voice
• Overcoming fear and self-doubt
• Introduction to  public speaking
• Building  comfort with self-expression

Outcome:
Students participate in a mini showcase, demonstrating increased confidence and willingness to speak.

6-Week Development Series

Building confidence, clarity, and communication skills

This program allows for deeper skill development and practice.

Focus Areas:

• Voice,  identity, and self-expression
• Communication  in peer and academic settings
• Managing  anxiety and social pressure
• Structured  speaking practice

Outcome:
Students present in a guided showcase, demonstrating growth in clarity, presence, and confidence.

12-Week Transformational Program

A comprehensive journey of personal growth and leadership development

Our most impactful offering, designed to create lasting change in how students see themselves and use their voice.

Focus Areas:

• Identity,  confidence, and personal narrative
• Advanced public  speaking and storytelling
• Emotional  regulation and resilience
• Leadership and  peer influence

Outcome:
Students deliver a formal showcase presentation, reflecting deep growth in voice, confidence, and leadership presence.

The SASA Student Showcase

Every SASA experience culminates in a Student Showcase—a powerful, affirming event where students:

• Share their  voice in front of peers, staff, and/or families
• Demonstrate  communication and leadership skills
• Experience  pride, accomplishment, and visibility

This is often the moment where transformation becomes undeniable.
